Obituary of Emma Amadio

Emma Amadio, 89, of Hamilton entered into God's loving care on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, she was a life-long area resident. Emma was employed by Our Lady of the Angel's Parish-St Joachim's Church for fifty years until her retirement. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angel's Parish and its Sanctuary Guild. Emma was also a member of The Roman Society Feminile. Predeceased by her parents Sabatino and Emma (Scartocci) Amadio, a brother, Idolo (Tubby) Amadio, a sister, Viola DiCiolo and a niece Annette Santo, she is survived by her loving nephew, Joseph Santo and wife Tonilynn; a loving niece, Cindy Kearns and husband Cliff; a sister-in-law, Rose Amadio and many other nieces and nephews. A Rite of Reception will be held 9:30 am Wednesday December 30 at Our Lady of the Angel's Parish-St Joachim's Church, 20-56 Butler Street, Trenton. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at the church. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchte Cemetery, Hamilton. Relatives and friends may call from 9:45 am to 11am at the church. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Emma's name may be made to Our Lady of the Angel's Parish, 21-23 Bayard Street, Trenton, NJ 08611.
