Obituary of William Marrone

William H. "Bill" Marrone, 75, of Tabernacle, entered into God's Loving Care Friday, February 26, 2016 at his residence with his loving wife by his side. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Trenton/Hamilton area resident and for the past eight years he resided in Tabernacle. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Bill as he was known by his family and friends retired from General Motors Corporation, Fisher Guide Division with over twenty-six years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and a car enthusiast, who enjoyed restoring antique cars. In his earlier years, Bill enjoyed stock car racing. Predeceased by his parents, William and Sarah (Jones) Marrone and his sister, Melodie Trimble, he is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Dorothy (Witkowski) Marrone; his children, Darlene Stanley & husband Mark, Sharon Byrne, Karen Gibson & husband George, Maryann Rousseau & husband Steve and Barry Seifritz; one brother, Joseph Marrone; his brother-in-law, David Trimble; thirteen grandchildren, Kimberlee, Gregory, Cammy, Diana, Allison, Priscilla, Skylar, Stephen, Melissa, Cara, Dena, Shana and Jessica; his great-grandchildren, Jenna, Alex & Alexa. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Christian Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 2 at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, LLC, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619, located in the Brenna Cellini Facility. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08619. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
