Rita L. Annasenz, 71, of Hamilton entered into God's loving care Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Robert Wood Johnson Univ. Hospital, Hamilton. Born in Trenton, she was a life-long Trenton/Hamilton resident. Rita was a home health care nurse until her retirement. Predeceased by her parents Anthony and Mary (Barth) Valeri, her beloved husband, Nikolaus, and a brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Helen Valeri, she is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Dominick and Patricia Valeri, two sisters, Ann Valeri and Dolores and husband James Stevens, a brother-in-law, John J. Annasenz and his wife, Elvira Annasenz, a niece, Marie Annasenz-Gorman, and her husband, Sean Gorman, with whom she resided, four additional nieces: Linda Scazzaro, Terri Battaglia, Deborah Fysz and Colleen Stevens, and six nephews: John Annasenz, Donald Valeri, Joseph Valeri, John Valeri, David Battaglia and James Stevens.. Rita is survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews and family member, Norman Gehweiler, for whom she provided many years of loving care. The funeral will be held 8:30 am Tuesday, March 8, at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ. 08619. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:30 am at Our Lady of the Angels Parish/Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Ave., Trenton. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be held Monday, March 7, from 5 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Rita's name may be made to St. Raphael/Holy Angels Food Pantry, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
