Obituary of Nicholas Salenetri

Nicholas Dominic Salenetri, 66, of Crosswicks passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on September 30, 2016. Born in the Chambersburg section of Trenton, he was a life-long resident of the area. As the owner of BNS Exhibit Pros, he was the president of the trade show logistics company for 21 years. His true passion was racing Standardbred horses as the owner, driver, and trainer at Funny Farm Racing Stables. He loved spending his time golfing with friends at OYCC, watching sports, cooking for family and friends, and walking with his favorite daughter, Sammie, his yellow lab and partner in crime Predeceased by his parents Nicholas D. and Dolly (Sapio) Salenetri, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Theresa and Harry Williams, he is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Pat (Williams) Salenetri; two daughters, Brandie Salenetri, Nikki Salenetri and husband Tom Garvey, his sister-in-law Beth Peroni; one brother Joseph Salenetri and family. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, "adopted daughters", and grandchildren Olivia and Marcus. The funeral will be held 8:30am Friday October 7 at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619 (609) 587-9050. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, October 7 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 45 Crosswicks Avenue, Bordentown. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 6 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
