Obituary of Mary Capone

Mary Theresa (Sykes) Capone, 83, of Columbus, entered into God's loving care Friday, March 24, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton, she resided in Chambersburg most of her life. In 2008, Mary along with her late husband Lou and family moved to Las Vegas for several years, prior to moving to Columbus, NJ. Mary was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim's Church, she enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and playing Bingo on Tuesday nights. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Wanda (Stawski) Sykes and her loving husband Louis M. Capone, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Angelo "Butch" Sargenti; one grandson, Louis Sargenti and wife Nicole; her adored great-granddaughter, Julianna; two sisters-in-law, Anna Sykes and Connie Capone; her special nieces, Tricia and Donna; also surviving are many other nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends. The funeral will be held 8:15 am Thursday, March 30, 2017 from D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619, located in the Hamilton Brenna Cellini facility. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am on Thursday at Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim's Church, 22-56 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ 08611. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08610. Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 29, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
