Antoinette Colletti

Antoinette Colletti, 89, of Villa Park section of Trenton, entered into God’s care Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at St. Mary's assisted Living at Morris Hall in Lawrenceville, with her loving family by her side.


Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Cathedral High School.


She was formerly employed with the State of New Jersey, Division of Motor Vehicles for over forty-five years, prior to her retirement.


Antoinette was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Angels Parish-Immaculate Conception Church.  She enjoyed shopping, going to lunch and traveling with her special friends, Marlene and Carol. Antoinette will be sadly missed and remembered as a loving caring person, always doing for her family and friends. She was the matriarch of the family, and affectionately named “Nanny” by her great-nieces and nephews and the ultimate Godmother to all of them.


Predeceased by her parents,  Joseph and  Rose Colletti, her loving sister and brother-in-law, Sadie and Vincent  Rapisaldi, her niece, Lucy Rapisaldi, and her nephew Neil S. Sanvardine, she is survived by her loving nieces, Rose Sanvardine, Mary Pacia and husband Thomas and Rita Hewitson and husband Jeffery; ten adored great-nieces and nephews, Neil J. Sanvardine, Lisa Owen (Mike), Stacie Messenger (John), Christopher Pacia, Nikole Braud (Jeremy), Scott Hewitson (Kim), Amanda Saxton (Tom), Lee Ronnenberg (Dan) Leslie Popov (Alex) and Michael Saplansky; also survived by sixteen cherished great-great-nieces and nephews.  


Rite of Reception will be held 9:00 am Monday, October 21, 2019 at Our Lady of the Angels-Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08611, followed by calling hours until 10:15 am at the Church, there will be no calling hours at the funeral home.


Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Monday, October 21, at Our Lady of The Angels-Immaculate Conception Church.


Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery,1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610.


In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Our Lady of the Angels Parish, 21-23 Bayard Street, Trenton, NJ 08611.
