John A "Skip" Moscarello, 74, of Hamilton, entered into God's Loving Care Sunday, February 7, 2016 at his residence. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Trenton/Hamilton area resident. Mr. Moscarello served in the United States Air Force for four years prior to his enlistment in the National Guards, retiring with 21 years of military service. After his discharge from the Air Force, Mr. Moscarello worked in his father's barber shop for seven years before his employment as an inspector with the State of New Jersey, Division of Weights and Measure where he retired after thirty five years. Mr. Moscarello also worked as a volunteer at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital with thirty two hundred hours of service. Skip as he was affectionately known, was a member Knights of Columbus Hamilton Township Council 6213, Gould's breakfast club and was an avid Yankee fan. He was a devoted loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to everyone. Predeceased by his parents, Samuel J. Moscarello and Josephine Morgante Moscarello-Amico and his step-father, Salvatore C. Amico, he is survived by his loving wife of nearly forty eight years, Angela (DeSantis) Moscarello; his devoted children, Jo Ann Adam and husband David and Sammy Moscarello and fiancée, Lucy Ponticiello; one brother and sister-in-law, Deacon Charles and Catherine Moscarello; his sister, Dolores C. Kefalas; his step-sister, Sarah Saponieri; his step-brother, Richard Amico and wife Ada; one sister-in-law, Mary J. Notaro; two cherished grandchildren, Kayla and Madison; two aunts, Marie Moscarello and Josephine Pastor; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Friday, February 12 from D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619, located in the Brenna Cellini Facility. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Friday February 12, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 E. State Street Ext., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
