Obituary of Daniel Clugsten

Daniel T. Clugsten, age 36, of Roebling entered into God's loving care on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. Born in Trenton he was a life-long Hamilton/Roebling resident. Daniel was a 1998 graduate of Nottingham High School. He was employed by IBEW Local 269 as an electrician for the past 14 years. Dan was an avid fisherman, perfect father and unforgettable character to all those who crossed his path. He loved fishing and cars, but most of all he enjoyed spending time watching his son Cole play baseball. Predeceased by his son, Daniel Jr., paternal grandparents, Robert and May Clugsten, maternal grandparents, Donald and Katherine Jones, He is survived by his loving son Cole P. Clugsten, and mother of Cole, Jaime Lawson, his wife Charlotte Williamson and her daughter Aubrey; his parents, James Sr. and Kathleen Clugsten; his siblings, James Jr. and Melinda Clugsten, Laura Alpert, Michael Clugsten and Alicia Lyden, Matthew Clugsten and Ashley Valentino, Katie Clugsten; nieces and nephews, Scottie, Andy and Kayla Alpert, Matt Clugsten Jr., Brianna Clugsten, Anthony Belardo, Chloe Alpert, Kai and Lainey Clugsten and Kyle McQuade. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins from the extended Clugsten and Jones Families and an infinite number who he called friends. The funeral will be held 8 am Tuesday May 24, 2016 at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, (located inside the Brenna Cellini facility) 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ, 08619. (609)-587-9050. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 am at St Anthony's Church, 626 South Olden Avenue, Trenton. Burial will follow in St Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be held Monday May 23 from 5 pm to 9 pm at the funeral home.
