Franklyn Thomas "Tom" Hamilton, Jr., passed away peacefully Friday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Doylestown, Pa, he was a lifelong Hamilton area resident. Tom as he was affectionately known was employed by the State of NJ, City of Trenton and Trenton Board of Education, retiring in 2003. Tom was a friend of the Bahai Faith. He enjoyed traveling in the US and abroad and was an avid reader. Predeceased by his parents Franklyn Thomas and Hazel (Lane) Hamilton, he is survived by his lifetime partner, John Ostrowski and a brother Dennis and wife Janine. Funeral Servicesl will be held 10 am Wednesday at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, Clergy from the area will officiate. Burial will be in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. Friends may call from Wednesday from 8:30 am to 10 am at the funeral home.
