Laurence J Schnoering, Sr., 83, of Hamilton entered into God's loving care Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Compassionate Care Hospice of Trenton, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, he was a life-long area resident. Larry served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was owner and operator of Schnoering and Welch Roofing Company for 30 years until his retirement. Larry enjoyed spending time on the computer and was quite the movie buff, but most of all he loved the cherished times with his family especially his grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents John and Veronica (Sisko) Schnoering and his loving wife of fifty five years, Rosemarie, he is survived by his son Laurence Schnoering Jr. and girlfriend Darlene and his daughter Lauren Schwartz and husband Edward; two grandchildren, Jillian Schnoering and Edward Schwartz Jr. The funeral will be held 8:00 am Tuesday September 29, 2015 at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619. (located inside the Brenna-Cellini facility). A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:30 am at Holy Angels Church, 1733 South Broad Street, Hamilton. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Relatives and friends may call Monday September 28, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions in Larry's name may be made to American Cancer Society. (www.cancer.org/donate) .
