Obituary of Lena Galletti

Lena Belviso Galletti, 91 entered into God's care on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Rose Hill Assisted Living, Robbinsville, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, Lena was a lifelong area resident. She worked at the Horseman Doll Factory and retired from General Motors Corporation, Fischer Guide Division in 1984 after 23 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish Community- St. Joachim's Church, its Sanctuary Guild, Societa Del Assunta and Maria S.S. Cassandrino, a lifetime member of Bordentown Elks No. 2085 Ladies Auxiliary, a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Senior Citizen Club, group No. 3 and a member of Local 731. Daughter of the late Angelo and Lucy (Persico) Belviso, wife of the late Angelo Galletti who died in 1978, and sister of the late Donald, Angelo Jr. and Anthony Belviso. Daughter-in-law of the late Quintola and Carlo Galletti, Sister-in-law of the late Jean Belviso, Sue and Louis D'Ambrosio, and Melinda and Joseph Bencievengo. Lena is survived by her son Carl Galletti of Phoenix, Arizona and daughter-in-law Donna Galletti of Lawrenceville, NJ; her grandsons Christopher and wife Sanda Galletti of Tempe, Arizona, Andrew and wife Jessica Galletti of Toms River, NJ and Jonathan Galletti of Nashville, Tennessee; three great grandchildren, Christian, Nicolette and Justin Galletti; her brother, Jerry Belviso, sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie and Frank Cuiule and Josephine and Edward Bogacz; also survived by her sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Virginia Belviso, Rose Belviso and Delores and Bill Ewanis and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins and friends. Rite of Reception will be held 9:30 am Tuesday, January 21 at Our Lady of The Angels Parish-Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Avenue in Trenton. Calling hours will follow from 9:45 am to 10:45 am. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Parish, 21-23 Bayard Street, Trenton, NJ 08611 Arrangements are entrusted to Chambers D'Errico and Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers Street, Trenton.
