Obituary of Jennie Menichelli

Jennie (Scalia) Menichelli, age 97, of Pemberton entered into God's loving care Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Samaritan Hospice of Mt. Holly. Born in Trenton, she was a life-long area resident. Jennie was a member of Our Lady of the Angel's Parish and its Sanctuary Guild. She was also a member of the Trenton Senior Citizens Club. Jennie enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her mother and father Rosa and Salvatore Sperrazza, her loving husband Armando Menichelli, her daughters-in-law, Jeanette and Patricia and brothers Peter Scalia and Nate Sperrazza, sister-in-law Kate Sperrazza and brother-in-law Frank DeBonis. She is survived by two sons, Robert and Paul Menichelli; a daughter Lucillle Menichelli, one sister Nicoletta "Nellie" DeBonis; six grandchildren, Robert Menichelli Jr. and wife Maria, Rose Scarlotta and husband Joe, Susan Menichelli, Sandra Wilk and husband Anthony, Paul Menichelli, Jr. and Dana Menichelli; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Rite of Reception will be held at 9:30 am Wednesday, May 25 at Our Lady of the Angels-St. Joachim's Church, 20-56 Butler Street, Trenton, Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11AM at the church. Burial will follow. Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 25 from 9:45 AM to 11:00 AM at Church. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
