Obituary of Edward Cacace

Edward J Cacace, Jr., 74 of Hamilton, entered into God's loving care Monday, May 1, 2017 at Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks, CA., with his loving family by his side,
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
Ed as he was affectionately known by his family and friends was formerly employed with the State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs as a Plan Examiner and also employed with Mercer County Community College as an Adjunct Teacher for twenty years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Hamilton Council 6213 and Jensen's Bowling League. He enjoyed going on cruises, golfing and watching wrestling. But most of all he cherished the times spent with his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Edward J. and Elizabeth (Berg) Cacace, Sr. and his wife, Jacqueline (Lezzano) Cacace, he is survived by his loving wife Frances (Nocera) Barnaba Cacace; his children, Edward Cacace, III and wife Marianne, James Cacace and wife Melissa Michael Barnaba, Elizabeth Dorrycott and husband Russ; Mario Barnaba and wife Maggy, Philip Barnaba ,Joseph Barnaba and wife Valerie, and his sister and brother-in-law, Betty & Peter Czerwinski; sixteen cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Anthony, Michael, Chiara, Ariana, Rob, Ryan, Matthew, Demetri, Mario, Nico, Juliana, Philip, Christian, Samantha and Joseph; two adored great-grandchildren, Lyla and Indie Rose; also survived by his aunt, uncle and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be held 9:45 am Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619. (Located inside the Brenna-Cellini facility)
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Tuesday at St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church, 555 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ 08620.
Burial will follow in Crosswicks Cemetery in Hamilton.
Calling hours will be Monday, May 8 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
