Elizabeth Timko, 74, of Trenton passed away suddenly Saturday at St. Francis Medical
Center.
Born in Krasznokvajda. Hungary, she lived in Trenton since 1967. She had been a bookkeeper in Krasznokvajda. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and working in her garden.
A previous parishioner at St. Stephen's Church, she had been a member of its Altar Rosary Society. She had cleaned the church and rectory until it closed in 2005. She attended Immaculate Conception Church.
Surviving are her husband, Julius, two daughters and sons-in-law, Ildiko and Jamaal Green and Elizabeth and Charles Holtzman, all of Hamilton Township, her twin sister and her husband Maria and Jozsef Bodnar, both of Encs, Hungary, and their children and grandchildren, Erzsebet and her husband Karoly Vida and their daughter, Fanni, all of Budapest, Maria and her husband Jozsef Kozma and their son, David, all of Encs, and Jozsef and his wife Katalin and their daughter, Kata, all of Mosonmagyarovar, Hungary. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins here and in Hungary.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim's Church, 20-56 Butler St., Trenton.
Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery. Hamilton.
Calling hours will be Friday from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Chambers D'Errico & Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers St., Trenton.
