Obituary of Helen South

Helen T South, 88, of Hamilton entered into God's loving care on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Mercerville Center of Hamilton. Born in Lynchburg, Virginia, she resided in the Trenton/Hamilton area most of her life. Helen was employed by Bell Telephone as an Operator for forty- one years until her retirement. Predeceased by her parents, James and Sarah (Hicks) Terry, her husband of forty-four years, Charles H. South, two brothers James and Elwood Terry, three sisters Hallie Ractell, Thelma Welsh and Madeline Koski, she is survived by her son Chuck South and wife Carol; two brothers, Francis and Kenneth Terry; two sisters, Delores Miller and Dorothy Serfass; four grandchildren Blair and Michael South, Michelle Heck and husband Floyd. Lauren Lesko and husband Mike; six great-grandchildren, Julian, Dillon, Connor, Francesca, Jared and Olivia; a sister-in-law Adeline Jenkins and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 10:30 am on Monday, October 9 at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, LLC, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton. Clergy from the area will officiate Burial will follow in Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing Twp. Calling hours will be held Monday October 9 from 9 am to 10:30 am at the funeral home. .
