Obituary of Feliciano Gentili

Feliciano "Phil" Vincent Gentili, 91, of Hamilton, entered into God's Care Thursday, March 13, 2014. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Trenton Catholic Boys High School. Mr. Gentili served with the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He retired from American Standard Corporation in Trenton, and later was employed with Rider College. Phil, as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church in Yardville and Hamilton Township Senior Citizen Club. He enjoyed playing bocce, dancing, doing cross words puzzles and volunteering his time as a maintenance worker at The Woodlands in Hamilton where he resided. He was also a lifelong member of the Roman Society. Phil was a devoted loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Son of the late Alfredo and Amalia (Spanicciati) Gentili, he is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Candida "Connie" (Ottavi) Gentili; two daughters, Constance Cunningham and husband Edward and Christine Gentili; two grandchildren, Dana and Seth Morrissey; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry Ottavi, Rose and Marty Pinizzotto and Aurora Kmiec; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated 11:00 am on Monday, March 17 at St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church, 555 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville. Entombment of cremains will follow at Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum in Hamilton. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
