Obituary of Nicholas J Rosie

Nicholas J. Rosie, 21, of Hamilton, entered into God’s care Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.

Born in Hamilton, he was a lifelong area resident. Nick as he was affectionately known, attended Notre Dame High School and Hamilton High West. He was an avid Yankee fan, he enjoyed fishing, DJ’ing and spending time with his sister.

Predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Arthur L. Rosie and maternal great grandfather, August Venceller, he is survived by his father, Thomas A. Rosie; his mother, Christine (Venceller) Rosie; his younger sister, Julianna Rosie; his paternal grandmother, Mary Ann Rosie; his maternal grandparents; August and Filomena Venceller; his maternal, great grandmother, Evelyn D. Venceller; his uncles, Msgr. Joseph N.  Rosie, Christopher Venceller and August Venceller and wife Celeste; his special aunt, Patrice Yannessa and special cousins, Arianna, Gia and Michael; also surviving are many other relatives and friends. 

The Funeral will be held 10:00 am Friday, March 23, 2018 from the D’Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619, located in Brenna Cellini Facility.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Friday, March 23 at St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church, 555 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, with Nick’s uncle, Msgr. Joseph N. Rosie, officiating. 

Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610.

Calling hours will be Thursday, March 22 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
