Obituary of Lucy Laureti Testa

Lucy Testa, 90, of Trenton, entered into God’s Care Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Hamilton Grove Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Hamilton, with her loving family by her side.

Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Testa was formerly employed with Lit Brothers Department Store as a salesperson in the shoe department. She was also employed with Circle F. Company, prior to her retirement.

Lucy was a devout catholic and a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim’s Church.

Predeceased by her parents, Ascenzo and Annamaria (Tedeschi) Laureti, her brother, Louis A.  Laureti and her sisters, Iola DiGiuseppe and Elizabeth “Betty” Agabiti, she is survived by her  loving  husband of 58 years, Emilio Testa; two daughters and sons-in-law, Annamaria and John Donohoe and Katherine and Gerard  McNamee; her granddaughter, Maria K. Minelli; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law,  Mary Laureti, Anthony and Josephine Testa and Dino Testa; also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be held 8:30 am Thursday, May 10, 2018 from the D’Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619, located in the Brenna Cellini facility.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am Thursday, at Our Lady of The Angels Parish-St. Joachim's Church, 20-56 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ  08611.

Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey Street, Trenton, NJ 08611.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 9, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
