Tommasina “Tessie”  Perlingiero, 92, of Trenton, entered into God’s Care, Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Hamilton Continuing Care Center in Hamilton.

 

Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.

 

Tessie,  as she was affectionately known to her family and friends was formerly employed with the State of New Jersey prior to her retirement in 1980.

 

She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Angels Parish, St. Joachim’s Church and a member of the St. Claire’s  Fraternity and the 3rd Order of St. Francis.

 

Predeceased by her parents, her siblings and more recently her sister, Sara (Perlingiero) Nuckles who passed away October 2017, she is survived by one sister and two brothers-in-law, Rose Gruzlovic and husband Joseph and Harry Nuckles; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

 

A Rite of Reception will be celebrated 9:00 am Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim’s Church, 20 56 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ 08611.

 

Calling hours will follow at the church until 10:15 am, there will be no calling hours at the funeral home.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am at St. Joachim’s Church.

 

Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610.

 

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Our Lady of the Angels Parish, 21-23 Bayard Street, Trenton, NJ 08611.
