Obituary of Andrew Rotter

Andrew J. Rotter, 75, of Trenton, passed on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Hamilton Grove Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Hamilton.

Born in Trenton, He was a life-long area resident, joining Chambersburg’s first Little League Baseball team as a pitcher on the Trenton Yankee’s. Andrew attended and played basketball for Trenton Catholic High School, he served in the Air force and was stationed in Germany. 

Andrew was an avid sportsman and enjoyed surf and deep sea fishing with his friends at the Jersey shore, bowling and playing basketball in the Hopewell men’s recreational league until he was 68 years old. He was a generous and kind man, and was loved by his friends.

He was employed by Wells Fargo as a Security Guard until his retirement, and was a loving caregiver to his Mother.

Beloved by his family, he is predeceased by his parents Andrew H. and Katherine Rotter, he is survived by two sisters, Anna Demko and husband Andrew and Katherine Both and husband Steven; nieces and nephews, Katherine Pryce and husband George, Andrew Demko, Elizabeth Both and Dorothy Moylan, Anna Ervin and husband Edward, and several grandnieces and nephew.

The funeral service will be held 10:45 am on Friday, July 13, 2018 at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, LLC, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton (located in the Brenna-Cellini facility).  Calling hours will be Friday, July 13 from 9:30 to 10:45 am at the funeral home.  Burial will be private.
