Salvador Nazario Santiago entered into God’s loving care Wednesday March 6, 2019 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Hamilton.

Born in Guanica, Puerto Rico, he emigrated to this area and was a life-long area resident.

He was employed by American Standard until his retirement.

Salvador likes to play dominoes, shoot BB guns in the backyard, play pool, scratch offs, read the newspaper, bike riding, listening to music and spending time with his family and friends He was also an avid Yankee and Mets fan.

Predeceased by his parents, Julio and Isabel (Santiago) Nazario, he is survived his loving wife Justina Ortiz; two children, Jenny Nazario and Salvador Jr; a sister Eva Nazario; six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held 11 am Monday March 11, 2019 from D’Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619 (located inside the Brenna-Cellini facility) Clergy from the area will officiate.

Relatives and friends may call from 9 am to 11 am at the funeral home.
