Anthony Joseph Derrico, 75, of Hamilton, entered into God’s care Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Arcadia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, he resided in the area most of his life. He was a graduate of St. Joachim’s Parochial School and Trenton Catholic Boy’s High School Class of 1961.
Mr. Derrico was formerly employed with the State of New Jersey for over 23 years prior to his retirement and also employed as a Real Estate Broker for various Realtors in the area.
Anthony was a loving devoted husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid football fan and enjoyed occasional trips to Atlantic City.
Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Clara (Agastri) Derrico, he is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carol (Carey) his devoted children, Deborah Derrico, Joseph Derrico and Anthony Derrico; his sister Patricia Cirillo; four cherished grandsons, Brandon Williams, Jason Williams, Justin Williams and Nicholas Derrico; also survived by his niece, Cindy Cirillo Mains and nephew, Brian Norton.
A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30 am on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Our Lady of The Angels-St. Joachim's Church, 20-56 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ 08611.
Inurnment of Cremains will be private
Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 10 from 9:15 am to 10:15 at St. Joachim’s Church, there will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Parish, 21 -23 Bayard Street, Trenton, NJ 08611
