Obituary of Fannie Hnatiuk

Fannie (Terone) Hnatiuk, 95, of Hamilton, entered into God’s care, Thursday August 29, 2019 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resided.

Fay as she was affectionately known by her family and friends was formerly employed as a seamstress and worked for various clothing manufacturers in the Trenton  area, and later employed with the State of New Jersey, Division of Motor Vehicles, prior to her retirement.

She was an excellent homemaker and an active member of Hamilton Senior Citizen’s Center. Fay was also a breast cancer survivor and an active supporter of breast cancer awareness.  She was a participant at the annual Notre Dame High School Pink Out Fundraiser.

Predeceased by her parents,  Joseph and Madeline (Sacricelli) Terone, her brothers, Alfred C. Terone and Nicholas Terone, her sisters,  Carmela “Millie” Burton and Anna Langenburg, Frances Terone, Rose Toon and Mary Langenburg and her loving husband Yosafat "Joseph" Hnatiuk, she is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, William and Karen Hnatiuk of Columbus; two adored grandchildren, Sierra & Roman Hnatiuk; her brother-in-law, Richard Burton; several nieces and her devoted caregiver of many years, Dorothy.

The funeral will be held 9:00 am Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from D’Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619, located in the Brenna Cellini Facility.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 626 S. Olden Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08629.

Burial will follow in St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery in Hamilton.

Calling hours will be Monday, September 2, 2019 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Tuesday September 3, from 8:00 am to 9:00 am at the funeral home.
