John K Laciskey, 74 of Hamilton, entered into God's care Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University at Hamilton, with his loving family by his side. Born and raised in Trenton, John resided in Bordentown several years, prior to moving to Hamilton. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School class of 1963. Jack as he was affectionately known by his family and friends was the proprietor and operator of “Hairstyles by John” Hair Salon on Division Street, in the Chambersburg Section of Trenton, for over thirty-five years and taught hairdressing at The Wilfred Academy of Hair Design and Beauty Culture in Trenton. He was also employed with the City of Trenton, Tax Assessor Office for over twenty years, prior to his retirement, as a Senior Tax Assessor. Jack was a devout Catholic and a longtime parishioner of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Trenton and more recently a parishioner of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bordentown where he continued serving as a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of the Parish Council. Jack enjoyed gardening, he loved to bake, especially for the holidays, but most of all, Jack loved being with his family, especially his adored grandchildren. Jack was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather. He will always be remembered for his pleasant personality and kind character. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anna (Mislan) Laciskey, his sister, Hilda Johnson, he is survived by his loving wife oy fifty-three years, Margaret “Peggy” (Ludwiczak) Laciskey; his daughters, Jonette Tilton and husband Robert and Justine Santora and husband Anthony; one brother, Joseph Laciskey and wife Ellie; his adored grandchildren, Morgan and husband John, Cole, Alexa, Nicholas, Hunter and Anthony; his cherished great-grandson, John Joseph; also survived by his sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Jaclyn and John Durgin and Michael John Ludwiczak and several nieces, nephews and many cousins. The Funeral will be held 9:00 am Friday, January 31, 2020 from D’Errico Funeral Chapel, 30 Yardville Allentown Road, Hamilton, NJ 08620, located in Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday, January 31 at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish-St. Mary's Church, 45 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown, NJ 08505. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Bernardine & Redfern Avenues, Hamilton, NJ 08610. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
