Anna D. Sykes, 89, of Columbus, entered into God's Care Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. Mrs. Sykes was born December 7, 1930 in Trenton, NJ. She resided in Trenton area prior to moving to East Windsor, Columbus and Honesdale, PA. She is the daughter of the late Liscomb Lawrence and the late Anna Louisa (Miller) Reed and wife of the Late Charles J. Sykes. Anna was formerly employed with the State of New Jersey for over 30 years prior to her retirement. She was also an Ordained Minister with the United Methodist Church in Trenton. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 am on Tuesday, February 25 at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, LLC, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ, located in the Brenna Cellini Facility. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08619. Calling hours will be Tuesday, February 25 from 9 am to 10:30 am at the funeral home.
