Laura Mae Kauffman Rossi, age 87, of Robbinsville, entered into God’s care Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Rose Hill Assisted Living in Robbinsville, NJ.
Born in Jobstown, Laura resided in West Windsor living on Cubberly Road for 60 years in the house that she and John built and loved, prior to moving to Robbinsville.
A Registered Nurse, Laura worked with the McGraw-Hill Company in Hightstown until her retirement. However, she continued to provide her medical expertise and gentle manner to all those who needed her help. Nursing was not only Laura’s profession, it was her passion.
Predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Laura (Butterworth) Kauffman, her brother and sisters, Paul Kauffman, Gladys Metz and Jane Miller and “the love of her life,” husband John A. Rossi to whom she was married for 62 years. She is survived by her children, John Rossi and wife Gloria Cota-Robles, Mark and wife Sabrina Kurtz-Rossi and Beth Ann Conaghan and husband James; beloved sister, Marian Sivo; her devoted sister-in-law, Evelyn Rossi-DeRitis; also survived by six grandchildren; Sean, Laura, Allegra, Carson, Mia and John and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 virus and gathering restrictions, private burial will be held in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Laura’s memory: The American Cancer Society.
Arrangements have been entrusted to D’Errico Funeral Chapel, 30 Yardville Allentown Road, Hamilton, NJ, located in the Buklad Merlino facility.
