Margaret E. Carucci (nee Manzi), 105 of Hamilton entered eternal rest on Friday, May 22nd at the Homestead at Hamilton. Born in Florence on July 20, 1914, she resided in Burlington until moving to Hamilton in 1946, where she resided for the past 70 years. Margaret was a licensed beautician and worked for the NJ Department of Motor Vehicles until her retirement in 1981. She was an amazing cook, baker and sewer. Mrs. Carucci was a member of Holy Angels Altar Rosary Society and was an active parishioner at St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish. Predeceased by her parents, Vincenzo and Ersilia (nee Carlani) Manzi; her only son, John Carucci, her husband, Orlando “Chick” Carucci, her sisters, Angeline Curto and Lucia Manzi and her nephew Salvatore Curto. Surviving are her three granddaughters, Lauren Johnson, Lisa Lancia and Lynda Babaian (Greg), 5 great-grandchildren, Emily, John, Meaghan, Cole and Tyler; nephews, James and Michael Curto; Joseph Curto, Mary Lou Curto and Barbara Curto; cousin Julia Bishop, sister-in-law, Elsie Carucci and many great nephews and nieces. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, private funeral services and entombment will be held at St. Mary’s Mausoleum in Hamilton. Arrangements have been entrusted to D’Errico Funeral Chapel, 30 Yardville Allentown Road, Hamilton, NJ, located in the Buklad Merlino facility.
