Vivian Ann (Conti) Abbott, 85, of Bordentown Twp., entered into God’s care Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Brookdale Hamilton Assisted Living. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident prior to moving to Bordentown Township. Vivian was an excellent homemaker who enjoyed catering to the needs of her family. She was a lifelong active parishioner of Our Lady of the Angels Parish. She served the Consolation Ministry as well as the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. In her earlier years, she was the director of Birthright of Trenton. In her later years, she co-founded Nar-Anon of Bordentown. Predeceased by her husband, Orville Abbott, her parents, Armand and Ann (Vannozzi) Conti, two grandsons, Nicholas Abbott and Joseph Rosidivito, a great-grandson, Vincenzo Cottone and her brother, Robert Conti. She is survived by her children, Mark Abbott and wife Debra, Joseph Abbott and wife Kathy, Maureen Rosidivito and husband Joseph, Susan Corti, Mary Massi and husband David, and Christine Buono and husband David; her grandchildren, Marc Abbott, Vanessa McClain and husband Douglas, Shannon Corti, Maria Corti and Michael Melendez, Gary Corti, Jr., Jessica Rosidivito, Julia Savoy and husband Matthew, Alexandra Eisenhuth and husband Jeff, David Massi and Andrea Maldonado, Michael Abbott and Brittani Salva, and Sophia, Ava and Noah Buono. She was also blessed with 11 great-grandchildren. Vivian is survived by three brothers, Richard Conti, Gerald Conti and wife Mary Lou and Michael Conti and wife Isabell; her sister, Mary Ann Mattek and husband Richard; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Our Lady of the Angels Parish - Immaculate Conception Church, Trenton, NJ 08611. Due to pandemic restrictions, the mass will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Our Lady of the Angels Parish, 21-23 Bayard Street, Trenton, NJ 08611.
