Obituary of Ralph David Leroy

Please share a memory of Ralph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
By: Gloria Leroy Ralph David Leroy was born on June 21, 1996 to Syvitha and Raoul Leroy. He had lived a great life up until the age of 24 and with a heavy heart, I am here to tell you he passed at the hospital last Sunday night. Ralph grew up and was raised here in New Jersey. He attended Immaculate Conception for Kindergarten and went to Faith Baptist School for elementary and middle school. He was an extremely smart student with a 4.0 GPA. His teachers and classmates all loved him. He was a very respectful and respected man with a calm, loving, and caring composure. He would always conclude his conversation with `` I love you or be safe. Those were his favorite words. He later on went to Nottingham High school where he played football his freshman year. Ralph often helped out in his community however he could. He was always helping kids at Vacation Bible School and teaching them about the Bible. He was always right there to assist. After Ralph graduated high school in 2014, he spent a year at LaSalle University. After that, he transferred to Rutgers University to pursue his dream of becoming a Pharmacist. But Unfortunately, that dream was short-lived due to his illness. Ralph was an exceptional conversationalist. He was the type of person who could talk for hours and have you captivated in what he was saying. He was a comedian who no matter how dull the situation was, would crack a joke. One of the last conversations I had with him was when I told him I passed my driver’s ed exam. The genuine excitement on his face is an expression I will never forget and will always remember him by. We sat there in his dining room planning how he was going to teach me how to drive on the day. And although I am deeply saddened that day will never come, I will always think of him when I’m behind the wheel. Ralph left behind special memories with each and every one of us. And although, this is a sad day, it is important for us to keep those memories and know that he is no longer suffering and that he has found eternal peace and happiness in God’s Hands.
