Obituary of Eleanor C DiBella

Eleanor C. DiBella, 93, of Lawrenceville, entered in God’s care Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at her residence. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a lifelong area resident. Ms. DiBella was formerly employed as a clerical worker with New Jersey State Police for many years, prior to her retirement. She also worked as a sale associate for S.P. Dunham and Lit Brothers Department Stores, both in downtown Trenton. Eleanor was a longtime parishioner of St. Michael’s Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, and more recently a member of the Church of St. Ann in Lawrenceville. She was a member of Lawrenceville Senior Citizens Club, she enjoyed playing cards, dancing and shopping. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Jennie (Morreale) DiBella, her sister, Dorothy Guilfoyle and brother, Matthew DiBella who recently passed in March 2021, she is survived by her sisters, Mary Clawges and husband Richard, Josephine Clark and Jennie Zipin; her brother-in-law, Stephen Guilfoyle; her nieces and nephews, Stephanie Tranosky and husband Edward, Lynn Strauss and husband Michael and Judy Nodland and husband Kenny; great-nieces and great-nephews, Katelin Tranosky, Madison McConnell, Jacob McConnell, Justin McConnell, Keni Lynn Nodland, Taylor Nodland, Ryley Nodland and Mitchell Nodland. Calling hours will be Monday, July 12, 2021 from 10 AM to 11 AM at Church of St. Ann’s Chapel, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
