Obituary of Lucille (Urbano) Santitoro

Lucille (Urbano) Santitoro, 62, of Hamilton, entered into God’s care Friday, September 10, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Born and raised in the Chambersburg section of Trenton, she was a longtime Hamilton resident. Lucille was a graduate of Trenton Central High School and was employed with the State of New Jersey for 37 years, working in various departments prior to her retirement from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection in 2014. After her retirement, Lucille volunteered helping others at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Seasons Hospice, both in Hamilton. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend, who will be deeply missed. Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Antoinette (Pizza) Urbano, she is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Robert F. Santitoro; one daughter and son-in-law, Rachel Santitoro and husband Jake Eger; her son, Robert G. Santitoro; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Joseph and Sue Urbano, Jerry and Barbara Urbano, and Geraldine (Santitoro) Roselle. She is also survived by her uncle and aunt, Anthony and Isa Pizza, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. The Funeral will be held 10:00 am Friday, September 17, 2021 at the D’Errico Funeral Chapel, located at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Hamilton, NJ 08620. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am on Friday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 E. State Street Ext., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610. Calling hours will be Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
