Obituary of Pauline Tripode

Pauline (D’Oria) Tripode, 97, entered into God’s care on Friday, December 24, 2021at her residence in Hamilton, NJ, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Corato Bari, Italy, Pauline immigrated to the United States with her mother and younger brother John, settling in the Chambersburg section of Trenton where she resided prior to moving to Hamilton, NJ in 2000.
Pauline was an excellent homemaker and loved catering to the needs of her family. The most special times for her were when she would go to Parx Casino and take trips to Atlantic City with her son. She also enjoyed cooking and baking and teaching her daughter and son-in-law how to make her recipes to carry on her legacy in the kitchen and most of all she cherished every moment she spent with the loves of her life, her two grandsons, Mark and Jeffrey. Pauline was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who will be sadly missed.
Predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Paul Tripode, her parents, Felice and Sabina (Terzulli) D’Oria, her brother John D’Oria (Nancy), brothers-in-law Anthony Massi, Michael Frollo (Ramona) and sisters-in-law, Frances Naro, Mildred Gura (Edward), and Mary Zola (Leonard).
She is survived by her son, Leonard Tripode, who was her care giver and with whom she resided, her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Daniel Mattonelli, her grandsons, Mark Mattonelli and Jeffrey Mattonelli, her siblings Angelina Massi and Joseph and his wife Clementina D’Oria, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
The funeral will be held 9:30 am Monday, January 10, 2022 from D’Errico Funeral Chapel, 30 Yardville Allentown Road, Hamilton, NJ 08620, located in the Buklad Merlino Facility.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Monday at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
Calling hours will be from Monday from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at the funeral home. Due to the spread of Covid-19, face mask and social distancing should be practiced.
