Agnes (Nancy) Badessa of Hamilton, 96, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2022. Agnes grew up and resided in Hamilton, NJ her whole life. She attended Hamilton High School West and then worked at Trenton Pottery where she met her husband. She left work to raise her family and then later in life worked for the State of NJ, Department of Treasury-Personnel. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s sporting events. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, Gregory P. Badessa, her parents, James and Agnes (Prentice) Cooper, one brother William Cooper (Thelma), two sisters Jessie Ross (Frank) and Catherine Kovacs (Carl). Agnes is survived by her daughter Lynn Badessa and her son Greg Badessa and his wife Diane. She is also survived by three grandchildren Michael Badessa and his wife Dayna, Gregory Badessa, Patricia Badessa and her fiancée Louie DeLorenzo, and six great-grandchildren Kahla, Ava, Mia, Dominic, Grace and Brayden. Funeral Services will be held 12:30 pm on Thursday, January 13 at Grace-St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 3715 E State, Hamilton, NJ 08619 with Fr. Michael T. Panzarella officiating. Burial will follow in Ewing Church Cemetery, 100 Scotch Rd, Ewing, NJ 08628. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 13 from 11 AM to 12:30 pm at the church. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. Due to the spread of Covid-19, the family request that the use of a face mask and social distancing be practiced.
