Obituary of Anthony Testa

Anthony Testa, 85, of Hamilton, entered in God’s care, Sunday, January 9, 2022 at his residence. Born in Corona, Queens, NY, he resided in Trenton/Hamilton area since 1955. Tony, as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, was formerly employed as a Union Bricklayer from 1958 to 1976 and retired from General Motors Fisher Guide Division with 15 years of service. He was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of The Angels Parish-St. Joachim's Church, Hamilton Senior Citizen’s Club and a member of the Bricklayer’s Union, Locals 751 and 5. Predeceased by his parents, Stefano and Erminia (Scala) Testa, his brothers, Mario and Emilio “Emile” Testa, he is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Josephine M. (Daddio) Testa; his daughter, Michele Cacace and his grandson, Nicholas Cacace; one brother, Bernardino "Dino" Testa; his brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Anthony & Betty Daddio; also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his special little “Sophia”. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Friday, January 14, 2022 at Our Lady of the Our Lady of The Angels Parish-St. Joachim's Church, 20-56 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ 08611. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610 Calling hours will be Friday, January 14, from 9:00 am to 10:15 am at the church. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to Our Lady of the Angels Parish, 21-23 Bayard Street, Trenton, NJ 08611.
