Stacia Ann Fanelli, 50, of Hamilton, entered in God’s care, Thursday, June 9, 2022 at her residence, with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton, she was raised in Bordentown and educated in St. Mary’s Elementary School and graduated from Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville. After high school, Stacia moved to California where she completed her college education at Sacramento State University in California. After her graduation from college, Stacia resided in California and was employed with California State Fair in Marketing and Events Planning for several years, prior to returning to the Trenton area. She resided in Roebling, New Jersey for almost 20 years. Staci, as she was affectionately known by her family and friends, then started her working career with the State of New Jersey Civil Service Commission, where she became Assistant Director for the Division of Agency Services. She loved to travel. She enjoyed cruises, loved her trips to Italy and Ireland with her sister and also going to Hawaii. She greatly enjoyed her visits to different wineries, going to the beach, trips to Atlantic City and Parx Casinos, Broadway shows and loved Face Painting at various different events. She was also a lover of animals and enjoyed her pets, especially her rescue dog Pluto. She joined in on fundraisers with the AWA (Animal Welfare Association). Predeceased by her father, Alfonso Fanelli, her paternal grandparents, Emilio and Maria Rose Fanelli and her maternal grandmother Gramam Helen, she is survived by her loving mother, Maryann Fanelli; her caring sister, Christine Fanelli, whom she resided with the last 2 years; she is also survived by her uncle John Fanelli; her uncle Albert and aunt Mary Fanelli; her aunt Theresa Budd, her aunt Antoinette Fedor and her uncle Joe and Bunny Fanelli; as well as several cousins. Calling hours will be Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:15 pm at D’Errico Funeral Chapel, LLC, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Hamilton, NJ, Located in Buklad Merlino Facility. A Christian Memorial Service will be held at 1:15 pm at the funeral home. Clergy from the area will officiate. Private burial of Cremains will follow in Crosswicks Cemetery.
