Obituary of Lillian Ivette Ramos

Lillian I. Ramos, age 49, of Trenton, NJ departed peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Capital Health System at Fuld of Trenton, NJ, with her loving and devoted family by her side. Lillian was born in Patillas, PR to Millan and Jovita (Gonzalez) Ramos. Lilli, as she was affectionately known moved to Trenton with her family in her early teens. Lillian had a disability that she did not allow stop her from reaching her goals. She was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy at the age of five, after her family witnessed her constant falling, and difficulty walking that led to her walking on her toes. Even though she had a disability, Lilli fought through many obstacles that she overcame. Having graduated from high school, earning an Associates degree in Business Administration and exceeding the limits to a Bachelors degree at Rider University. Lilli never let anything, nor anyone stop her. She decided she wanted to work and retired after thirteen years at New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission. Lilli was a trooper, a warrior, and was known as the family “boss” or “La mandona.” She helped everyone in need and loved spoiling her nieces and nephews whom she loved more than life. Lilli loved them as a mother loves her children. She protected and sheltered them from harm. Born into this world to help others, Lilli never complained. She was always pleasant and never seen without a beautiful smile. Lilli loved flowers, bright colors, but most of all her family. That beautiful heart and charismatic smile will be missed dearly by all whom had the pleasure of knowing her. “God wanted a golden flower and he picked Lilli” Loving you always Noelia. Family and friends will gather Monday July 11, 2022 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at D’Errico Funeral Chapel 30 Yardville Allentown Rd, Hamilton, NJ, located in Buklad Merlino Facility. Catholic services will be held at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey Street. Hamilton, NJ 08610.
