Obituary of Filomena C. Venceller

Filomena Carol (Salvatore) Venceller, 74, of Bordentown, entered in God´s care Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at her residence, with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton, she resided in the area most of her life. Phyllis, as she was affectionately known by her family and friends was formerly employed as a Para Legal for twenty-two years with Gary Backinoff Law Office and more recently as an Executive Assistant for the State of New Jersey, Office of the Governor, working under the Administration of four Governors, prior to her retirement. She enjoyed playing cards, trips to the casinos and traveling with her husband, but her greatest love was spending time with her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who will be sadly missed by everyone. Predeceased by her parents, Frank C. and Lucy L. (Traino) Salvatore, her stepfather, Joseph Pannone, her brother and sister, Frank Salvatore and Rose Marie Salvatore, grandson, Nicholas J. Rosie, father-in-law and mother-in-law, August W. and Evelyn Venceller, and brother-in-law, Frank Venceller, she is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, August Venceller, Sr.; her children, Christopher Venceller and wife Dawn, August Venceller, Jr. and wife Celeste and Christine Rosie; her adored grandchildren, Arianna, Julianna, Gia and Michael; her siblings, Anthony R. Salvatore and wife Geraldine, Joseph J. Salvatore and wife Patricia, Michael J. Salvatore, Carmen J. Salvatore and wife Karen, Sylvia Toye, two sisters-in-law, Patricia Salvatore and Helen Walker; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Catholic Services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at D’Errico Funeral Chapel, LLC, 30 Yardville Allentown Road, Hamilton, NJ 08620, located in the Buklad Merlino Facility. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610. Calling will be held Monday, July 11, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Tuesday, July 12 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the funeral home.
