Obituary of James M Adams

James M. Adams, 71, of Lawrenceville, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 15, 2022 with loving family members at his side, at the Meadows at Morris Hall in Lawrenceville. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong area resident. He graduated in 1969 from Cathedral High School and went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree from Rider University. Jim was employed as a letter carrier and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for more than 30 years until retiring. He was an avid history buff who enjoyed long walks through town, reading, music and was a huge NY Yankees fan. Predeceased by his parents, John E. Adams, Sr., and Dorothy (Miller) Adams, his cat, Mittens, and his dog Benji; he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jamie E. Adams and Daniel Develle; brother and sister-in-law, John E. Adams, Jr. and Marylou Adams; a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Bikash Bose; one granddaughter, Charlotte Develle; dear cousins, Frank Adams and Mary Paul; a niece, Jennifer and Daniel Bernardi; a nephew, John and Jodi Adams; as well as many other relatives and dear friends.
