Obituary of Angelo Domenico Rotondo

Angelo D. Rotondo, 71 of Hamilton, entered in God’s care Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Cooper University Hospital of Camden, NJ. Born in Sant’Angelo d’Alife, Italy, Angelo with his parents and siblings immigrated to Montreal Canada in 1957 where they resided for eleven years prior to moving to the United States in 1968, settling in the Chambersburg section of Trenton, prior to moving to Hamilton. Angelo proudly served in United States Army National Guard. He was formerly employed as a master plumber in Local 9 prior to his retirement. Angelo enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking delicious meals, fishing, and watching football. He was an avid Eagles fan. Predeceased by his parents, Giovanni and Maria (Zulla) Rotondo, his son, John A. Rotondo, who passed on December 23, 2022, he is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Joann (Falchi) Rotondo; his children, Angela Rotondo, Amie Fischer and husband Nick and Dominic Rotondo and wife Amanda; his adored grandchildren, Gianna and Avery, Luciano, Gianni, Serafina and Carmine Rotondo. His brother and sister-in-law, Bruno and Kelley Rotondo, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ida Rotondo-Pennacchi and husband Vincent and Maria Pintye and husband Michael; his sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Julie and Dennis Mitala and Freddy Falchi; also survived by several aunts and uncles, Ugo and Dawn Zulla, Lina Pocino, Mickey and Carmen Calderone, Julia and Joseph Scarlata, Susan Buzzetta, and Stella Lombardo and Rose Jachetti, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be Friday, January 6, 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:15 am at Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim’s Church, 22-56 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ 08611, follow by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
