Obituary of John N Fox

John N. Fox, 80, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Capital Health Systems at Fuld in Trenton. Born and raised in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. John graduated from Trenton Catholic High School, Trenton State College, and continued hie education at Rider University for his master’s degree in education. He started his teaching career at St. Anthony’s School in Trenton, and then became a biology teacher in Piscataway. John, then took a position as a Principal in Delaware Twp., prior to becoming a Superintendent in Green Twp., NJ. He came back to Trenton as an Assistant Superintendent, and finally finished out his 35-year career in the Education field as a Superintendent with the Milford Public School System. In his spare time, he enjoyed, golf, and college basketball. He was an avid reader, a lifelong Yankees fan, and enjoyed DeLorenzo’s Pizza. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Josephine (Foldetta) Fox, and his daughter, Jessica Fox; he is survived by his 2 sons, Jason Fox, and Joseph Fox; a grandson, Jason Fox, Jr.; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. The funeral will be held 9:45 am on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the D’Errico Funeral Chapel (Located in Buklad Merlino Facility), 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Hamilton, NJ 08620. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am at St. Anthony’s Church, 626 South Olden Ave., Hamilton, NJ 08629. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
