Richard Pallay passed away peacefully at his home with his loving wife Julia “Judy” Pallay by his side. Rich was born in Trenton, NJ to Edward and Jennie (Muzyka) Pallay. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Rich worked for the State of New Jersey Division of Taxation. There he served as Chief of Special Procedures until he retired in 1994. Rich enjoyed the outdoor life being an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent summers out fishing off Barnegat Light on his boat. As an accomplished bowler, he was inducted to Buck’s County Hall of Fame and Mercer County Hall of Fame. He was predeceased by his father, Edward Pallay, his mother, Jennie Pallay nee Muzyka and his brother Edward Pallay. He is survived by his wife Julia “Judy” Pallay, his daughter Krista Pallay, his stepchildren Brian Geller and his wife Christy, Robert W Geller, III and his wife Karen, his step grandchildren, Bobby Geller, Tara Geller, Brady Geller and Peyton Geller, his sisters Carol Stewart and Joyce Guglielmo and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Isidore Parish Church, located at 28 Monmouth Road, Wrightstone, NJ 08041, at 10 am on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Immediately following will be the burial service at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey Street, Hamilton Township, NJ, 08610. Please visit Rich’s tribute page at www.derricofunerlhome.com
