Obituary of Sue Aregnano

Sue (Valeri) Aregnano, 97, of Hamilton, entered in God’s care Thursday, August 10, 2023 at her residence, with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong Trenton/Hamilton area resident. Mrs. Aregnano was formerly employed with St. Francis Medical Center as a dietary aide for 20 years prior to her retirement. She was a former member of the Italian American War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary and a member of Hamilton Township Senior Citizens Club. "Daughter of the late Guilio and Caroline (DeCarolis) Valeri, sister of the late Catherine Parziale, Mamie LaBella and Mary Motchnik. Wife of the late Carmen Aregnano and mother of the late Christine Aregnano. She is survived by her daughter Susan Beck and her husband John Jr. and her son Michael Aregnano and his wife Linda. Four grandchildren, John P. Beck, Jennifer Lucania and her husband Christopher, Nicholas Aregnano and Gianna Aregnano. Two great grandsons, Giovanni and Dante Lucania. Two lifelong special friends, Myrtle Lauver and Betty Mangus. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.” The funeral will be held 9:30 am Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from D’Errico Funeral Chapel, LLC, 30 Yardville Allentown Road, Hamilton, NJ 08620, located in the Buklad Merlino Facility. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30 am at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610. Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
