Obituary of Elizabeth Mangus

Elizabeth “Betty” Mangus, 95 of Hamilton, entered in God’s care Saturday, August 26,2023, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
Betty, as she was affectionately known by her family and friends, retired from Saint Francis Medical Center as a Dietary Assistant, after 17 years of service.
She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, bingo, spending time with family, and attending Saint Anne’s Novena.
Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Elizabeth (Tkac) Evanko, her siblings, George Evanko, Mary Worek, and Ann Zim, her loving husband of 35 years, Michael Mangus and grandson, Cody T West.
Betty is survived by her children, Ronald (Debbie) Mangus, Michael Mangus Jr., Rosemary (Gene) Cenerino and Marie (Rick) West; five grandchildren, Ronald Jr., Robert, Christopher Mangus, Nicole and Dalton West; one great-granddaughter, Alyssa Mangus; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at Hamilton Grove and Serenity Hospice Care for their excellent care given to their mother.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:15 am at Our Lady of the Angels Parish-Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Avenue, Trenton, 08611, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 am.
There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
