Obituary of Diane Zahler

Diane P. Zahler, 63, of Trenton entered into God's Care Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital of Hamilton. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident. Diane was employed as a proof reader for Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic in Princeton before her retirement. She was a participant at Life at St. Francis for the elderly. Diane loved to shop, take day trips to Atlantic City and the Jersey Shore, but most of all Diane enjoyed listening to music, especially Michael Bolton and Andre Rieu. She was a loving, caring and generous person who will be dearly missed. Predeceased by her parents Carl and Eileen (Cahill) Zahler, her brother Kurt Zahler, she is survived by two loving cousins who took care of her in her time of need, Kathleen Pontoriero and husband James and Patricia Sullivan; her aunt and uncle, Tony Parzych and wife Kathleen, five additional cousins, Tony Parzych, Marie Smith and husband Walt , Kim Muehleisen and husband Tom,Tim Cahill, Johnny Cahill and her sister-in-law, Joan Zahler. The funeral will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Chambers D'Errico and Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers Street, Trenton. Clergy from the area will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at the funeral home.
