Obituary of Josephine Garofalo

Josephine Garofalo, 94, of Trenton, entered into God's loving care Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Care One At Hamilton Campus with her loving family by her side. Born in Naples, Italy, she resided in the Chambersburg section of Trenton most of her life. Josephine was employed for many years as a seamstress for various clothing manufacturers prior to her retirement. Predeceased by her parents, Salvatore and Angelina (DeFrancesco) Garofalo, her brothers and sisters, Florence Cicchino, Anthony Garofalo, Pasquale Garofalo and Angelina Garofalo, she is survived by her loving sister, Frances Santini and husband Frank; a sister-in-law, Veronica Garofalo; and several nieces, nephews and others relatives. Rite of Reception will be held Saturday, 9:30 am October 25, at Our Lady of the Angels-St. Joachim's Church, 22-56 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ 08611. Calling hours will follow from 9:45 am to 10:45 am at the church; there will be no calling at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Angels-St. Joachim's Church. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Hamilton.
