Obituary of Michael Tomasulo

Michael F. Tomasulo, 95, of Hamilton, entered into God's loving care Friday, January 23, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital of Hamilton, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, Mike was a lifelong area resident. He served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. He was employed by Trenton Board Of Education prior to his retirement. Mike was a member of St. Raphael/ Holy Angels Parish and a life member of The Kent AA. He enjoyed sports and was a lifelong avid Yankee fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his four grandsons. Mike was a devoted loving husband, father, grandfather and special friend to everyone. He was predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Mary (DiDonato) Tomasulo Agricola, his stepfather, Antonio Agricola and his brother and sister, Robert Tomasulo and Rose Angelucci. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Elaine (Salvatore); his daughters, Elaine Patykula and husband Donald, Marianna Porcelli and fiancée, Andrew Baranowski and his son, Michael Tomasulo and wife Lori; a brother, John Tomasulo; his adored grandsons, Jimmy and Nicholas Porcelli and Michael and Ryan Tomasulo; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The Funeral will be held 10:00 am Thursday, from D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619, located in the Brenna Cellini Facility. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Thursday at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610 Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 28, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Thursday, January 29, from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at the funeral home.
