Obituary of Adriana Del Borgo

Adriana "Diane" (Gentile) Del Borgo, 90, of Trenton, entered into God's Care Monday, February 9, 2015. Born in Calabria, Italy, she resident in Brooklyn, NY and Erie, Pa. before moving to Trenton where she resided most of her life. Diane was a homemaker and formerly employed with Horsman Doll Company in Trenton until its closing. Me-Mom, as she was known by her family and friends, was a caregiver for many children. She had a great love for her family and friends, especially her granddaughters and great granddaughter. Diane enjoyed cooking and entertaining, she was the keeper of tradition, preparing Christmas Eve, Easter and other holiday's dinners. In her spare time, she enjoyed her trips south to AC with her husband Andy. Predeceased by her parents, Gaetano and Luisa (Perricone) Gentile, two brothers, Charles and John, five sisters, Ines, Gloria, Jioconda, Aida and Adelina, her granddaughter, Lara Luisa, and her loving husband 60 years, Andrew J. Del Borgo; she is survived by her two daughter & son-in-law, Marianne & Allan Feinberg and Debra & Gaetano Guarino; a very special sister-in-law, Jennie Gentile; her cherished granddaughters, Amanda, Lauren, Leslie & Andrea and adored great-granddaughter, Adriana; also survived by several, nieces, nephews. The funeral will be held 8:15 am Friday, February 13, 2015 from D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619, located in the Brenna Cellini Facility. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am Friday at Our Lady of the Angels-St. Joachim's Church, 22-56 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ 08611. Burial will follow in Our Lady Of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610. Calling hours will be held Thursday, February 12, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
