Obituary of Jean Ryan

Jean A. (Cerino) Ryan, 88, of Hamilton entered in to God's Care Sunday, December 29, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, she was raised in Central City, Pennsylvania before moving back to the Trenton area. Jean was employed by Acme Markets, Mercerville, NJ for 30 years retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish, belonging to the Altar Rosary Society and the Elderberry Club, a member and past president of the Hamilton Columbiettes, and an active member of the Hamilton Senior Center. Jean enjoyed traveling, the beach, bus trips to Atlantic City, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her loving family. Predeceased by her parents, Santo and Elizabeth Cerino, brother and sister, Christopher Cerino and Sandra Biriki and loving husband of 52 years, Charles B. Ryan, she is survived by two sons; Gary Ryan and wife Gail and Robert Ryan; one brother, Ernest Cerino Sr.; one sister-in-law, Marie Cerino; two cherished grandchildren, Patrick Ryan and wife Susan and Kelly Miller and husband Robert; also survived by several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 8:30 am Thursday, January 2, 2014 from D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619. Burial will follow in Our Lady Of Lourdes Cemetery in Hamilton. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday January 1st from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
