Samuel R. Coon 79, of Hamilton, entered into God's Loving Care Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Compassionate Care Hospice of Trenton, with his loving family by his side. Born in Canaan, Ct. , he resided in Chambersburg section of Trenton,prior to moving to Hamilton where he resided for the past 21 years. Sam honorably served in the US Air Force, retiring after 20 years of service. He was later employed by the State of New Jersey. He was a former 32nd degree Masonic member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite in Bordentown , NJ. He was also a past member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. . Predeceased by his parents, Leon and Helen (Ostopko) Coon, two brothers, Leon and Robert Coon, he is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Louise (DiPaolo) Coon; his children, Juliet Delvalle and husband Carlos and Gary Zottoli and wife Donna; his sister, Joyce Pickering; four grandchildren, Jeffrey & Michael Delvalle and Gary & Vanessa Zottoli; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Julia & Edward Brown; Vivian & Michael Mullen and Joseph & Angie M. DiPaolo; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relative and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Saturday, May 23, at Our Lady of Sorrow Catholic Church , 3816 E. State Street Ext., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey Street, Hamilton, NJ 08619. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to ASPCA, PO BOX 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6926 or www.aspca.org. or charity of yor choice
