Obituary of Paul Brophy

Paul David Brophy "Woody" passed away on June 22, 2015. Beloved son of Robert B. & Kathryn A. (Zacharda) Brophy. Survived by his wife Laura Marasco Brophy, devoted father to Michael & Kenneth & stepfather to Joseph Nucera. Brother to Robert P. (Shannon) & Kevin S. (Sarah), Grandson to Marcella Brophy. Paul Is preceded in death by many aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews & cousins. Paul was a graduate of Council Rock High School, class of 1996. Paul worked for Conrail & CSX as an engineer for a total of 17 years. Paul was very involved with his family he loved spending family time seeing his children play sports, showed them how to ride a bike, how to hold a crab and other recreational activities. Paul had a zest for life. Everyone who knew him will miss him. The funeral will be held 9:15 am on Saturday, June 27 from D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, LLC, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619, located in the Hamilton Brenna Cellini Facility. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Saturday, June 27 at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, 3816 E. State Street Ext., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hamilton. Calling hours will be Friday, June 26 from 5:30 to 8 pm and Saturday, June 27 from 8:30 am to 9:15 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Paul's children. Please make checks payable to Michael and/or Kenneth Brophy.
